Between a ton of live shows and a new DVD release, there’s tons of ways to get your Jim Gaffigan fix this summer.
“Jim Gaffigan: Beyond the Pale” is coming to Blu-Ray on Sept. 7. The new disc also has video extras like Mr. Chicago, Eat Dinner With Jim, Jim’s First Stand-Up Performance, How To Break Into Stand-Up Comedy, A Short Cartoon Of Jim and Jim Makes The News.
Another option is to get Jim Gaffigan tickets to see him perform live. Gaffigan just kicked off a summer tour on July 16 and has shows scheduled all the way through Dec. 31.

When Jim Gaffigan is not performing stand-up he has been in the homes of many Americans as the co-star of TBS’s hit comedy series My Boys. As the show enters its fourth season, Gaffigan has decided to commit his time solely to his stand up routine and leave the TV gig behind.
His character, Andy, will be written off the show with a move overseas. As the season comes to an end, fans will be introduced to a new character: Mike’s love interest, Marcia, played by The Hangover’s Rachel Harris.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan has been busy apart from doing his stellar stand up. In between his travel and comedy gigs, Gaffigan also stars in “Stephanie Daley,” a movie that received rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. He’s also got another film—“Away We Go”—coming out on June 5.
The movie follows an expectant couple as they search the U.S. for the perfect spot to settle down and raise a family. It also stars an incredible cast including John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph, Jeff Daniels, Carmen Ejogo, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Josh Hamilton, Allison Janney, Melanie Lynskey, Chris Messina, Catherine O’Hara and Paul Schneider.
But comedy is never far from Jim. He has been performing stand-up on the road steadily since March 2009, and Jim Gaffigan tickets are still on sale until November 2010.

Funnyman Jim Gaffigan has extended his fall tour, and will now be staying on the road through Christmastime.
Gaffigan is slowly but surely becoming one of the hottest-selling comedy acts around. His self-deprecating humor is based primarily upon being lazy and eating copious amounts of food. In fact, a recent twitter post was “My kind of job. Being paid not to move,” with a photo of a living statue.
Gaffigan recently released a CD and DVD “King Baby,” filmed during one of his Comedy Central specials. The collection features 30 additional minutes of stand-up not seen on the special, and the DVD features over an hour of bonus material.
